We are pleased to announce our second generation , free Pure Connect apps , for iPad, iPhone and Android, which have been designed with content and music discovery at their heart to deliver a truly immersive and engaging user-experience.

Pure Connect is a gateway to a world of audio with millions of songs; thousands of radio stations; hundreds of thousands of on-demand programmes and podcasts; and a range of ambient sounds. In addition to the apps, there is also a new and improved Pure Connect website www.pureconnect.com.

All content is kept synced in the cloud and users can access their content intuitively from all devices wherever and whenever they want including PCs, Macs, iOS and Android devices or any Pure music streaming product that is linked to Pure Connect.

Control for Pure’s new Jongo multiroom audio product family is built into the DNA of the Pure Connect apps. The Jongo wireless system allows users to distribute synchronised music and audio to multiple devices from a single source, including the new Pure Connect App for iPad, iPhone and Android, as well as an increasing number of Pure’s connected products.

The new website and apps have been designed with content at their heart and with very simple, easy to use navigation. Music discovery is made easy with a seamless journey from the moment the user logs in thanks to the new ‘discovery’ section, which includes smart recommendations based on the user’s history. Pure Connect also features content from Audioboo’s new initiative, In Their Own Words, which allows content creators such as musicians, authors, comedians and more to connect more closely with their fans by sharing all aspects of their creative process through the social spoken word.

Pure Jongo S340B, is the first product to be announced as part of our Jongo wireless system – the world’s first mainstream multiroom audio product family. Pure Jongo S340B is an affordable, portable, rechargeable wireless speaker with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and 360° sound (SRP £149.99).

It can be used on its own or grouped together with other Jongo speakers to deliver the most affordable multiroom audio system on the market today. Jongo products use Wi-Fi to stream perfectly synchronised audio within a single or multiroom environment. Bluetooth is included for more informal, one-to-one streaming which is ideal for use in the garden or for sharing the fun with friends.

Despite its pint-sized proportions the Pure Jongo S340B offers rich, detailed and vibrant sound and comes with four tweeters for 360° sound and an upward-firing subwoofer for powerful bass. November has been a busy month for digital radio in France with the Marseille digital radio demonstration starting. RNT Marseille was approved by CSA (French Regulatory Authority) and the demonstration will last for 9 months. RNT Nantes is also expanding in November 2011 to St Nazaire, meaning that 1 million people will be covered by DMB (digital radio).
